Paul Stark Seeley has been a favorite author and lecturer over the years. He was a practitioner, teacher, lecturer and editor of the periodicals. The first collection of his articles and lectures explains how Christian Science enables you to overcome all forms of evil.
His lectures were expressions of spiritual logic that were both unusual and inspiring. Mr. Seeley was born in Poughkeepsie, New York, and attended Riverside Military Academy. He was a graduate of Princeton University and of Harvard Law School. In 1909, he joined The Mother Church and moved to Portland, Oregon. In 1912, he attended Primary Class, and served as Committee on Publication for the state of Washington. In 1916, he became a lecturer, and became a teacher after attending Normal Class in 1919. He served as President of The Mother Church, for a while, and was an Associate Editor of the periodicals from 1943 to 1948. He taught the Normal Class in 1961 and contributed many outstanding articles to the periodicals.
