As a young woman, Mrs. Reynolds was healed in Christian Science of double curvature of the spine. Following this healing, she studied Science, had class instruction, and then went into the healing practice when she was in her early twenties. She also wrote a number of articles for the Christian Science periodicals that have proven to be timeless — three of which are included in this collection. She later married Joseph Reynolds, also a Christian Science practitioner. They were in the public practice in Portland, Oregon, from 1910 through 1952. They worked together in preparing and giving association addresses.
