The first part of this book records the dedication in 1906 of the Extension of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. The second part is primarily a collection of letters, articles, and messages by Mrs. Eddy to her students, through which she tenderly and wisely counsels the reader to live the Christ. She writes: “Remember, thou canst be brought into no condition, be it ever so severe, where Love has not been before thee and its tender lesson is not awaiting thee. Therefore despair not nor murmur, for that which seeketh to save, to heal, and to deliver, will guide thee, if thou seekest this guidance.”
